Separated at Birth?

August 23, 2010

Last week we went to the Victorian Doll Museum and Hospital. It was not very big, but chock full of dolls. Although Peter declared, while we were still parking out front, that he “hated” this museum, he had a fine time once inside. Among the dolls was one that caught my eye; it looked like this

which reminded me a lot of someone I know

What do you think?

Maybe I’ll just strip Amos naked and he can be a Kewpie Doll for Halloween. Yes, I am already thinking about Halloween costumes (although Peter is quite enthusiastic about being the letters Q and Amos as U, and I can’t ask for easier costumes than letters on a shirt).

Since probably no one ever mentioned it to you, that kid is adorable.

I don’t know if it is where you got the idea, but They Might Be Giants has a kids album called “Here Come the ABCs” and there is a song called “Q-U”. Here is a link to the youtube video:

I would stick with the t-shirts, the masks that the guys in the video have could get a bit dangerous…

Yes–that is DEFINITELY where he got the idea. It is one of our favorites.
