I DEMAND a Recount

April 3, 2010

To Whom It May Concern:

When I turned the page on my calendar a few days ago, I turned to April.

Apparently someone else didn’t. Temperatures that make a very lovely August day are really quite unpleasantly unexpected in April. I mean, 88!?! You’ve got to be kidding me!

Unlike some months, April is not ambiguous territory: it is staunchly, 100% spring. Flowers, showers, sunshine–this is what we want. Now. Please.

Ummmm, 88 is pretty a pretty standard spring temp here in AZ. Quit your complaining up there! ;D

    Deborah–Good.

Hannah–Wish I had AC; I had not anticipated missing it until June.

Amy–Every region makes a deal with weather: this region agreed to 9 months of winter, an occasional blizzard, and gloomy skies in return for no 88 degrees days in April!

Meg–I could deal with snow–I still have my snow tires on.
