Making Play

January 8, 2010

Lily and I had a tough assignment over the break: we made play dough for her class. Not just ANY play dough, mind you: white glitter play dough.

Lily took it all in stride. No pressure here.

This is serious stuff.

We really didn’t know what we were doing, but muddled through.

The sparklely product:

I consulted several recipes on-line and none of them indicated HOW MUCH glitter to add. It turns out that you can’t add too much; we actually added more after we took these pictures.

I was not all that excited about this project, but it wasn’t too bad and, of course, Lily thought it was “the best play dough ever.”
