(question from non-parent) How is this different from, er, butt wipes?

They are saline-infused wipes. The actual wipe is a bit thinner than the diaper wipes. I suspect the moisture is little more than saline and a scent, so it is probably similar to washing the face with a wet washcloth. It cleans the mucus off much cleaner than a tissue.

That is probably much more than you wanted to hear about it.

Perhaps the boogie part refers to being on the go, as in “Boogie woogie woogie with me” or “Boogie on down the road” or “Boogieamus”, a bit of Italian missionary slang. These are all relics of the 1970’s or 1980’s. Check boogie in your Dictionary of American Slang next time you hit the library. Or your own bookshelves.

Sorry. The Italian missionary slang should have been “Boogiamo”, meaning “Let’s boogie”. Now I have to check out your link to the “Blog of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks.

I need to get some of those. Can you find them in the Target stores, or only online?

I think I picked mine up at Wal-mart, so I am guessing Target is a good bet.
