Strawberry season draws us to one place

(They also do a great pumpkin pick)
Since the rain kept us out of the pool today, we just had to drown our sorrows in strawberries (and get there before the pagaenteers do). The kids got sundaes and Amos and I shared some shortcake.

Then we went to town.

Next time I am trying a berry pop.

Oh, such torture! Only a day or two ago I was thinking of their shortcake and sundaes and wishing I could get one. Woe is me.
Good idea to beat the Pageant crowd.

I must confess – nibbling did cross my mind. I was really glad I hadn’t used it when I later read an earlier post in which several strangers apparently suggested something along those lines.
